Worship and Music
The purpose of the worship ministry at Prairie Creek is to connect people to God through passionate worship.  We sing the best of contemporary praise and worship music like you might hear on Christian radio as well as new arrangements of favorite hymns.  Our worship planning team under the direction of Associate Pastor Charles McLeod, along with the Praise Band, Praise Team, and Adult Worship Choir, seek to plan worship in such a way as to lead the worshipper to experience God's presence in a real and unmistakable way.  Enthusiastic singing, clapping, and lifting hands are all a part of our worship experience.  Various music and arts groups meet regularly to prepare for worship.

The Adult Worship Choir This choir is composed of men and women who love the Lord, love to sing, and can match pitch. Under the direction of Charles McLeod, they lead worship on Sunday mornings, sing special numbers in the service, and perform special concerts, musicals, and dinner theaters. They rehearse Wednesday evening from 7:45-9:00 p.m. in the Choir Room (behind the stage in the Worship Center.) Child care is provided by reservation. Prospective members are always welcome to visit rehearsals.   Praise Team This is an auditioned group from the Adult Worship Choir with special ensemble singing skills who give extra time to rehearsing and giving vocal leadership to our services.   Praise Band Our band leads worship and plays for special performances.  New members are considered by audition.  If you have an instrumental talent, please see director Charles McLeod.

Student Choir
This choir is composed of students in grades 6-12. They sing in the morning worship service from time to time and usually perform a musical sometime during the year. Rehearsal time is Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. in the Choir Room.

Praise Kids
Our children's music program includes fall and spring projects for children in grades 1-5 with rehearsals on Wednesdays from 5:45 - 6:30 p.m.  Music Camp, a summertime highlight of the year, is an entire week of music and drama activities culminating in a Sunday morning performance of a complete musical.

Preschool Choir
Preschool Choir is for boys and girls age 4 and kindergarten.  They meet on Wednesdays from 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. for musical activities and training.

Drama
We utilize drama in our choir productions, dinner theaters, and in worship services.  Parts are auditioned and assigned on a needs basis.
