Sometimes it seems like everything at church is planned for young families.  But there's a bunch of us who are into the second fifty years of life.  We've recently put together a team to champion ministries to adults 55+.  We plan both fellowship and ministry activities.  We'd love to have you join us.  All you need is that magic birthday!  Here are some of the things we're famous for:

Game Nights - Chickenfoot, Forty-Two, Party Bridge.  You name it.  We like to play it.  And we like to eat, too.  Sometimes we bring food; sometimes we do take out.  But we always have a good time.

Movie Nights - When we find an especially good movie, we plan a movie night with movie food.  We recently celebrated our marriages with the movie Fireproof and a catered Valentine dinner.

Friendly Fridays - We want to keep up with our members and friends who are now living in nursing homes, so we have set aside one Friday morning a month to make visits to these special friends.

Day Trips - We enjoy taking day trips together.  We've been to Jefferson to take in the Christmas home show and to Granbury for a summer musical,  We do lake parties and hymn sings.  Sometimes we just go out together for lunch.

PLUS Choir - Those of us who like to sing get together weekly to learn hymn arrangements, Sunday School songs, and even 50's tunes which we sing at area nursing homes and assisted living centers.
