Adult Ministry seeks to connect adults to God and to one another in various ways.
Adult Sunday School Groups
Every adult needs the opportunity to connect with other adults through the study of God's Word. We have both co-ed groups and groups for men or women that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. These are open groups and newcomers are always welcome.
DiscipleLife Classes
We want to see adults grow deeper in their faith and in their personal lives. To that end, we offer DiscipleLife classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. These classes offers you concentrated, practical, Bible-based study in a number of areas including Biblical Studies, Family Life, Personal Stewardship, Ministry Involvement, Christian Living, and Missions and Evangelism. Children's programs and childcare will be available at the same time. Register for fall classes.
Community Ministries
Adults at Prairie Creek are involved in various community ministries. We collect food each month for God's Food Pantry. We prepare move out boxes for the residents of the Samaritan Inn, the only homeless shelter in Collin County. From time to time we offer car maintenance at reduced rates. We teach English-as-a-second-language (ESL) classes to internationals in our community as well as offering citizenship classes, cooking classes, and international Bible studies.
Men's Ministry
Men of the church sponsor fellowship and ministry events for men, including such things as Saturday morning breakfasts, men's Bible studies, and overnight retreats.
Women's Ministry
Our women enjoy monthly craft classes, monthly Ladies' Nights Out at local restaurants, and women's Bible studies during the day. And no one wants to miss the annual Women of Faith Conference. To read about women's events, click here.
Young Adults
We have an active and growing group of young adults who utilize Starbucks to reach their generation. To read about their events, click here.
