At Prairie Creek Baptist Church, we value relationships. We see the most important relationship of life as knowing and loving God. Jesus told us to "love the Lord with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind and with all our strength." We seek to know God through reading and studying his Word, the Bible, and through worship and prayer.
Because of our relationship with God, we can enjoy relationships with others who know him. As followers of Christ, we share a common life together as we fellowship around his Word, pray together, celebrate together in worship, and serve one another. Our relationship with others doesn't stop at the church walls. We also have a burden to serve those who don't yet know God and to meet their needs in the name of Jesus.
Our prayer is that God might use us to help you connect with God and with other people.

Every Sunday morning we plan a worship service to provide inspiration for a new week. We believe worship should be a time to enjoy and celebrate our relationship with Jesus Christ. We sing the best of contemporary praise and worship music along with traditional hymns in updated styles. We enjoy practical messages from the Bible by our pastor. And we take time to meet and greet everyone God has brought together. |
Friendship
We are a family who cares for people. You'll see it in handshakes and hugs. You'll discover people ready to help. We believe friendships happen best in small groups, and we offer lots of them: Sunday School classes, recreation teams, choirs, instrumental groups, Bible study groups, support groups, mission action groups, home fellowship groups, Wednesday fellowship meal, discipleship groups. |  |

Growth
We want to help people mature in life and in their Christian faith. We offer many opportunities for personal growth through such things as Sunday School groups, choirs, seminars, and mission education. Through DiscipleLife classes and other seminars, we seek to address such topics as: money management, marriage, parenting, Christian growth, prayer, Bible study skills, and self-esteem. |
Ministry
People who are receiving also need to give in return. We seek to help people find a meaningful way to make a difference in someone else's life. Ministry opportunities include: working with children or teenagers, serving on a ministry team, leading a Bible study at local retirement centers, going on partnership mission trips, volunteering in community service projects, and church leadership. |  |
